Warriors Unbound Changes

The Warriors Unbound KVK mode in Rise of Kingdoms introduces two significant changes. Firstly, the new Artifact System empowers players with powerful relics, adding a strategic dimension to battles. Secondly, building restrictions within this mode, where forts can only be constructed by passes and structures, intensify the strategic decision-making process, making each move crucial for success. These changes enhance gameplay, offering players exciting new opportunities and challenges in their quest for victory.

Artifacts

In the Warriors Unbound Story, you can unlock “artifacts”, a new type of legendary equipment. When a commander equipped with artifacts is assigned as their troop’s secondary commander, any skills they have that only apply to a single unit type will instead apply to a different unit type, depending on the artifact. For example, if a commander has a skill that only applies to cavalry units, if they equip an infantry artifact that skill will apply to infantry units instead.

Building Restrictions

In the Warriors Unbound story, Alliance Fortresses can only be built in areas bordering a Holy Site or Pass (you do not need to capture the Holy Site/Pass).

  1. Artifacts will be unlocked after the end of the Lost Kingdom Chronicle Eye for an Eye.
  2. You can only redeem one artifact this season, and it cannot be swapped for another afterwards. It costs 5000 crystals to redeem an artifact.
  3. When a commander equipped with an artifact is deployed as a troop’s secondary commander, any skills they have that apply to a single unit type will instead apply to a different unit type, depending on the artifact.
  4. Artifacts will only take effect in this story’s Lost Kingdom, Sunset Canyon, and Lost Canyon events.
