Attention Diablo fans! Blizzard Entertainment has announced a Diablo 4 Server Slam event from May 12, 12 p.m PDT,-May 14, 12 p.m. PDT, in preparation for the launch of Diablo IV on June 6. During this time, players can participate in the event to help test the durability of the game servers on multiple platforms. The event will feature couch co-op for consoles and cross-play and cross-progression for all platforms, allowing players to team up and take on the armies of the Burning Hells in Sanctuary. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience the game’s online multiplayer mode and earn exclusive rewards!

What is the Diablo 4 Server Slam?

Get ready for a thrilling Diablo IV experience with Server Slam! This event will give players one last chance to explore a portion of the game before launch, while also putting our servers to the test. Here’s what you can expect:

  • The Prologue and entirety of Act I will be available, including Fractured Peaks, the first zone to navigate.
  • Players can level up their characters to Level 20, earn gear, and slay demons, but will no longer gain Ability Points.
  • The Legendary Item drop rate will reflect the launch version of Diablo IV.
  • The version of Diablo IV during Server Slam includes all bug fixes and updates implemented from the previous two beta sessions.

Although some of these details may be familiar to Early Access and Open Beta players, there are a few differences with Server Slam. Any character progress made during previous testing phases will not carry over, and the same applies to progress made during Server Slam.

Fractured Peaks is packed with activities to help you level up your character, including visiting Kyovashad to repair and purchase gear, upgrading healing potions, accessing the stash, and much more. Embark on main and side quests to uncover the story of Sanctuary, take on world and legion events to showcase your martial prowess, and collect gear from dungeons. Choose from five character classes, including Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, or Sorcerer, and use your unique skills and powers to defeat hordes of demonic enemies.

Fighting Ashava: World Bodd

One of the key features of the Diablo 4 Server Slam is the ability to fight Ashava, the Demon Slayer. Ashava is a fearsome demon that players will need to band together to defeat. This boss battle will put players’ skills to the test and offer a glimpse into the exciting world of Diablo IV.
Here’s when you’ll have an opportunity to combat Ashava during Server Slam:

  • May 13 starting at 9 a.m. PDT and every 3 hours thereafter until the final spawn on May 14 at 9 a.m. PDT.

Server Slam Rewards

Diablo IV’s Server Slam event brings new rewards for players who participate and defeat the bosses. One of the rewards is the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy, which can be earned by defeating Ashava with a level 20 character. Additionally, the event brings back rewards from the Early Access and Open Beta weekends, which players can earn by fighting the demonic enemies. Those who unlock these rewards during the Server Slam event will receive them again once Diablo IV launches. If you have already earned these rewards in the previous events, you will not need to earn them again. The rewards include:

  • Initial Casualty Title: earned by reaching Kyovashad with one character.
  • Early Voyager Title: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.
  • Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.
